Following is the information for Documents Required for the e-Passport application.

Applicants need to fill up an Online Pre-enrollment Application form, make an appointment, and upload the following documents (size must be less than 300 kb, supported format: jpeg, png).

Passport for Requirement
For First Issuance of Adults’ Passport.i) Nepali Citizenship Certificate (front and back Page).
ii) Validated National Identity Number (Rastriya Parichaya Patra).
For Renewal/Replacement of Adult’s Passport.i) Nepali Citizenship Certificate (front and back Page)
ii) Validated National Identity Number (Rastriya Parichaya Patra).
iii) Front page (photo page and page 3) and back page (page 31) of the current passport.
For First Issuance of a Minor’s Passport.i) Minor Citizenship Certificate.
ii) Marriage Registration Certificate of parents.
iii) Citizenship Certificates of parents (front and back page).
iv) District Verification Letter containing the applicant’s photo.
(The e-Passport will be issued with a validity period of 5 years to such children. The validity of the passport of the minors aged between 10-16 will be 10 years.)
For Renewal/Replacement of a Minor’s Passport.i) Minor Citizenship Certificate (first and second page).
ii) Front page (photo page and page 3) and back page (page 31) of the current passport.
iii) Citizenship Certificates of parents (front and back page).
(The e-Passport will be issued with a validity period of 5 years to such minors. The validity of the passport of the minors aged between 10-16 will be 10 years.)
